4 Point Inspection
What is it?
A 4 Point Inspection is often required when obtaining or renewing an insurance policy. It focuses on the four main systems of a home that carry the highest risk.
We Inspect:
- Roof – Age, condition, type, and signs of damage or leaks
- Electrical System – Wiring type, panel condition, safety concerns
- Plumbing System – Pipe material, visible leaks, water heater condition
- HVAC System – Age, condition, and functionality of heating & cooling systems
Benefits:
- Satisfies insurance requirements
- Highlights potential safety issues
- Prevents future costly repairs
- Helps with real estate transactions and peace of mind
What to Expect:
Takes roughly 60–90 minutes. You will receive a detailed, insurance-ready report, including photos and notes, within 24 hours.
How Can You Prepare?
- Declutter access areas so the inspector can easily access the attic, electrical panel, HVAC unit, under sinks, and the water heater.
- Fix any visible leaks under sinks or near fixtures
- Ensure all fixtures (toilets, faucets, showers) are in working order
- Replace dirty HVAC filters
- Copies of recent roof replacements, electrical upgrades or HVAC service can be helpful
